The category area of communications touches the heart of each institution and there is considerable scope for members to work together and aggregate their requirements, to reduce expenditure and improve efficiency. These challenges will require flexibility, innovation and commitment from members if we are to gain maximum benefit.

The Communications Group has continued to support the work of the National Telecommunications Group (NTG), with two HEPCW representatives maintaining leading roles in monitoring current agreements and facilitating further development.

HEPCW members continue to participate in one or more of the following agreements:

• Voice Calls & Lines
• Mobile Voice & Data
• Transmission Services & Infrastructure
